DOUBTING THOMAS
In the meantime, the disciples demanded full evidence of the risen Lord.π️ They wanted to see if what the women were speaking about was truely true.π️ But Jesus was not in Shadows. He finally appeared to them and they saw what they thought.π️ But did they all believe?
There is a nest of negative beliefs that is knitted within some people.π️ Okay some of the beliefs may not be as negative as what negativity would paint it. π️But some of the beliefs are wrong in line with what truely matters and what is truely right.π️
These beliefs are constructed according to what we hypothesize about certain subjects.π️ These hypothesis are pounded in our heads till they are well established.π️ Well established in such a way that they are deeply rooted and seemingly immoveable.π️
Thomas was not an exemption from such reality. π️
We are born not knowing everything. And that what the earth presents as information for us to learn is what we learn and truely believe in.π️ Imagine being born in a land where trees are pink.π️ You as a child will grow up knowing clearly that trees are pink. And there is no way you would imagine a green tree.π️ All you know is pink. Believing that pink trees exist would be a challenge to wrap around.π️
However, there are things which if left to us as children to decide on what to take as belief, we take our opinion and have it grounded.π️
What death is about is something that no one has experienced and knows all knowledge about.π️ We may only have what we have been told and also have our opinion.π️
Thomas had an opinion about death that was hard to undo. π️It was easy to believe the miracles that Jesus did but it was hard to believe that Jesus could rise from the dead.
And many of us fall in that line.π️ What we hold as our own opinions have grown into massive mental structures that other realities are hard to undo.π️ Such my make one miss out on what lies the other side of the truth.π️
GOD BLESS YOU
