GET OUT OF EGYPT AND GET EGYPT OUT OF YOU

They suffered greatly in the hands of aliens. 🏃🏿‍♀️They were mistreated to the climax. They were there for over 400 years. 🌵The Israelites waited for a savior to come by and render them saved...save from the brutal treatment the Egyptians had. 400 years was alot of time, many were born there and still died there.🏃🏿‍♀️ Some probably never saw any other country apart from Egypt.🌵 They had not tested the milk in other greener nations. 

It was one point that their cry reached Jehovah🏃🏿‍♀️. He knew it was time to deliver the Israel man out of a foreign land.🌵 It was time to send somebody. He, through Moses, delivered the Israelites out of Egypt.🏃🏿‍♀️

When they walked out, it was a Passover. They were moving from misery to happiness. 🌵They were moving from old years to New years. They were moving from blood to freedom🏃🏿‍♀️. It was a year for new history...let alone the history of generational suffering.

However, the Passover was not a smooth line.🌵 They had to encounter various troubles as they tried to move out of the "black" land...the land of darkness.🏃🏿‍♀️ And because of such seemingly unending trials, the Israelites grumbled against God.🌵 They thought about Egypt every time they suffered. They thought about cucumber, watermelon; they had seen in Egypt.🏃🏿‍♀️ They thought about these even when they were not fully entitled to them. They still had Egypt in them🌵. It was easy for God to get them out of Egypt but very hard for Him to get the EGYPT out of them. And as a result many never made it to the promised Land.🏃🏿‍♀️

When we see ourselves in the new year, there is an Egypt that we need to let go.🌵 We need to get the Egypt out of us. Last year may have been an Egypt for you. 🏃🏿‍♀️There could have been suffering and misery. There could have been losses.🌵 There could have been tears, bloody paths; but if you never let go of the Egypt in last year, you will die in last year. You will die financially, academically, business wise. 🏃🏿‍♀️You may not make it to the promised Land if you still have last year's Egypt in you.🌵 
 Change the way you think, the way you respond with urgency. Change to a better person. 🏃🏿‍♀️Don't wait to see green and red skies before you realize you need to change. 🌵The environment will look the same to you unless you change. For this new year, try hard to get Egypt out of yourself.🏃🏿‍♀️
